If you hadn't realised, I changed my blogskin already cause I find this really nice. Anyway, I also changed my blog song in lieu of the upcoming National Day. It's been a long time since I last posted. Lots of thing to post. Shall start my post with Saturday, 26 July.
26 July, Saturday
Had my haircut before heading to Sim Lim Square to buy a camera. Anyway that's not my main point. My sister, XX and I visited The Night Safari. FYI if you all didn't know the Night Safari is the World's First and I think only Night Safari. Honestly speaking, I really didn't know. Had burger before we entered the park. Took some pictures there before the the sun set and there's practically no light. I didn't take pictures of the animals, like the name suggests, IT'S IN THE NIGHT, so there's not much lighting and the animals just look black in my phone. It's so cool there, I mean it's my first time there. It simply didn't look or feel like I'm in Singapore. Anyway, I think the Otters were the best. They were so small and cute and made funny noises almost like squeaking. Plus we got to see them swimming in the pool with their little head surfacing from the clear water. Lots of animals there like the flying squirrels, hyenas, deers(lots of them roaming around the park if you take the tram), giraffes, crocodiles, bats, leopards etc. ( I can't remember all)

Anyway after my trip to Night Safari, I learnt something.
Things to Bring if Going to Night Safari
Bring a torchlight ( It's awfully dark there though I don't think we can bring strong flash light there.)
Bring your own bottle of water or drink ( The prices there...off the chart)
Wear a good pair of shoe ( You gonna need to walk a long long distance to see the animals)
A good camera if you intend to take photos of the animals ( No FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!)
Lastly, any object that can be used as a fan ( It was quite hot when I went there)
Erm...had tonnes of tests this week and Common Test is coming soon like in two or three weeks time.
These few days it has been raining cats and dogs. The weather is super cooling with strong breezey blowing. Anyway I took 2 photos during one of the countless rainstorm.

It's so so dark, it looks like a typhoon is here.
Anyway back to my main motive of posting today, though I have tonnes of homework waiting for me to complete. But before I forgot, 206 joined the inter-class drama competition yesterday. And...guess what *drum roll...* we got second despite the fact that our script was a rush cause we only wrote it the day before the competition. The competition required us to write a script based on a Shakespearan ( I forgot how to spell). So we chose " All's Well That Ends Well". It requires a bed trick or a bed scene. The play was damn funny cause we used a long towel to cover up the bed scene. LOL. BTW I had a role in that play.
Okay back to my main topic. Jian Bin commented that I look like Dexter. The guy from the CN cartoon show.
So I decided to come up with a check-list to see if I do look like him. So here goes nothing.
CHECKLIST TO SEE IF YOU LOOK LIKE OR YOU ARE DEXTER
Dexter--Short in the Show
Me--Short in Reality
Dexter--Have Orange Hair

Anyway going to end the post with another picture I made during ICT using Photoshop. Appreciate it cause I forgot the steps already.
I HAVE NOTHING TO POST. OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT THERE'S NO GEOGRAPHY TEST TODAY. THERE'S NOTHING TO POST. I WON'T BE POSTING FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS WEEKS.
Today we went to Khong Wai Shiung Hospital for CIP. Yeah, we achieved 3 hours of CIP hours. Anyway took some photos on the way there. Ok I am not going to talk about it, just posting pictures.
I didn't see this dead bird today. I saw it last night, squashed by cars.

I have no idea whether is it the engine that is flammable or the entire car.

The old folks there listening to performers singing.

The picture is blur. By the way it's Kai Xin and Zi Qing singing.

Group teacher photo. Spot Mr Tan yet?
Today, the Taiwanese students ended their short 2 days visit with us. Took some photos of them with my form teacher in it.

For some reason or the other, now cannot kope pictures from my blog already. Oh before I end, I am going to post this meaningful email from Xin Hui. Enjoy
F A M I L Y
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
'Oh excuse me please' was my reply.
He said, ' Please excuse me too;I wasn't watching for you.'
'We were very polite, the stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
'Move out of the way,' I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,God's still small voice came to me and said,
'While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.
'By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
'Wake up, little one, wake up,' I said.
'Are these the flowers you picked for me?'
He smiled, 'I found 'em, out by the tree.
I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue.
'I said,
'Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way.
'He said,
'Oh, Mom, that's okay.I love you anyway.'
I said,
'Son, I love you too,and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.'
[FAMILY]
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story?
Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU
I know it sounds cheesy especially the last part FAMILY, sounds like it was taken from I'm Not Stupid Too. But the poem is nice and it teaches us a moral value.
