Finally changed my url after so long.
Lesson learnt- When you're like a primary school kid, you tend to create grammatically wrong urls and email address.

I LOVE GOOGLE MAPS!
It's great for stalking people's house! And it's great for getting directions, like from New York City to Beijing. Logically, we would think of getting a plane or something but Google Map is so smart, they help us save money and we can get fit as well.
Why didn't I think of that? Kayak across the Pacific Ocean? It's only like 3,879 miles! I LOVE YOU GOOGLE MAP!

New York City. The greatest city in the world in my opinion. I wanted to delete this blog since I really don't have the time to manage or write this blog and I really really thought no one ever reads this crap I write. However, after what Hui Shan said today, I had a change of mind. Shall keep this so that I can pen down my random thoughts and well vent off if there's a need to. Plus I can even make money out of this like Xiaxue! So anyhoo, back to the NYC. It's a fantastic city despite its dirty subway with rats scampering around. Compared to Singapore, NYC may not be the cleanest but somehow the vibe in NYC is so much better there. I mean for instance I went Bugis today. It was mad crazy with people everywhere. It was seriously crowded with millions of people squeezing around the traffic lights. I like crowd actually but for some apparent reason I just don't like the crowd in Singapore where everyone is just yelling and stuff. I have no idea why I just don't like crowds here.
Went kite flying today at Marina Barrage today! Failed to get the kite flying but in my defense, there was no wind and there were too many people flying kites there hence our string kept getting entangled with other's. Had such a hard time trying to get the kite flying but ultimately failed probably because we were just too frustrated and hot at the same time. On a side note, there's a freaking huge octopus kite flying! It's damn nice and em magnificent.
One last thing before I go watch my show. I swear there's something wrong with Blogger photo upload thing. It takes forever to upload my photos and I can't move the photo down by dragging it! I used to do it but now I gotta cut and paste the HTML now. The only reason I can think of why my photos take eternity to upload is because it's a huge file. It's still not a very valid reason though. Blogger please look into this! Oh and I want to get shades before CNY. I think CNY will be freaking hot and sunny as always. Hence I think shades will be a smart thing to wear during CNY.

I'm feeling so drained inside me. Results are out, not entirely happy but contented-ish. After countless days of mugging I only got 8. Like seriously, I need one less point just to get into hci. WHY? WHY? WHY? Why is the man up there so cruel? JUST ONE FREAKING POINT! Anyway my whole point is that I'll appeal really really really really hard just to get into hci. I will be there. In HCI. IB programme looks interesting only when there's compulsory Literature to take from Group 1. I just don't get Lit so now IB is scratched out. NJC? Perhaps. I really really really want to get into HCI so hopefully my A1s might just get me in. I mean 6 A1s including Express Chinese is not bad right? AND may I emphasize that I got A2 for HCL. It's a feat for me ok? It's just that my L1R5 is (un)luckily a combination of 8.
Can only pray and hope for the best now. Cheer up people, it's not the end of the world yet. 明天会更好.

It's the new year! Can't believe the year has just passed again. I mean it seemed like yesterday was just the start of 2010 and now it's 2011 already. The O-Levels results will be released tomorrow. Imagine the horror. I hate waiting, especially when you know that at the end of the wait is probably something you won't be happy about (or not). But whatever it is, the wait is just killing me. Plus I also just want to slack at home and watch HIMYM...
So anyway for the new year i have already completed some of my new year resolution, of which one is to wear contact lens! It;s really easy once you get the hold of it. And it's quite cheap as well. It's only $75 for seven pairs monthly and it's Biomedics! To those who are still wearing glasses, it's time to move on. WEAR CONTACTS! Here's why you should wear contacts:
ONE. It's very easy. It may sound gross and difficult to touch your own eyeball but seriously it's nothing once you know how to.
TWO. It won't frost out whenever you get off the cold morning bus.
THREE. You can watch 3D movies properly especially since it's so IN now.
FOUR. I think you'll look better I suppose?
FIVE. You can wear sunglasses that doesn't need prescriptions!
SIX. You won't have to worry that your glasses are slipping out.
SEVEN. You can take a nap halfway while watching boring shows without the specs in the way.
EIGHT. You won't have to worry that your glasses will break when there's impact.
NINE. No more smudges on the specs.
TEN. It's relatively cheap if you choose monthly and if you go to a great optician. Mine is Optic Focus in Toa Payoh Central.
In conclusion: WEAR CONTACTS not don't sleep with it on.
