This post will be in perfect English( I will try really hard). Yesterday I had an appointment with my Maris Stella Friends, Shun Feng and Maynard. We had arranged to meet at Tampines Mall on 12pm. I left home early as I was staying at the west and Tampines Mall is in the east. Therefore I left early lest I am late for the appointment. As a result, I arrived at Tampines Mall earlier than I expected, thus I walked around the mall while waiting for the them to arrive. I soon bought a book by Mitch Albom- One More Day. I find all his books very good and they inspire you some way or the other. Back to the topic, I called them as they had yet to arrive Tampines Mall and it was already 1pm.
I was really pissed off after hearing what they told me. They are still doing a project at Maynard's house in Punggol. I immediately left for Punggol on the bus number ''3'' from Tampines Interchange. I was told that the bus ride will be about an hour long, therefore I decided to read my book to pass the time. By the time I reached Punggol, it was already raining cats and dogs. I walked around the clusters of flats and soon found the block-637C. Upon arriving Maynard's house, I was immediately greeted by Shun Feng and Maynard. I chatted to them about my life in NHHS. We soon left for Daryl's birthday party at his house in Bedok. We flagged a taxi and headed towards his house.
It was a 20 minutes ride and I instantly saw a familar face as the taxi drove further down. Daryl was in a white MSHS archery club tee and I realised he just went back to school for some activity. The party was actually a karaoke session at Changi in some club at the far easten part of Singapore. We sang songs and Shun Feng mesmorised us with his wonderful, melodious "Angela" voice. We also snacked on some wedges, fries and spring roll and had soft drinks. I guess the phrase "time flies when you are having fun" is rather true, soon it was already 8 pm. Shun Feng , Maynard and I took a taxi to Tanah Merah Mrt Station before we head for home.
Yesterday was truly a " Journey to The East" and though it was an ardous journey, I truly enjoyed it. Last but not least, Happy Birthday Daryl!
