ON the bright side, I want a macbook. Or at least I think I want a macbook if my LKK fujitsu dies on me. Not that I don't like my current laptop, it's good and the screen is so freaking wide. But it's so slow and it's always "Not Responding" and hangs up on me like twice thrice a day. Oh well, I shall think about it, it's either a mac or a compaq which the latter is free since my sis's bf wants to give me his quite new compaq coz he's not really using it. I contemplating whether I really need more distractions now...
ON the plus side, my sis *crosses finger* might be getting *crosses finger* engaged this year. I hope. Shouldn't be posting this here but nevertheless I want to play with zhap zeng! It's gonna be so cool lah haha to have a zhap zeng in my family! (not counting myself haha omg so narcissistic) Anyway the thought that I'm gonna be related to an ang moh family is quite cool (damn I sound like some SPG) haha but ang moh leh. Quite cool. haha :D And there's Harrods, the Queen, scones and other chi-chi English stuffs. Haha actually I'm more interested about my mum communicating with ang mohs given her English standard and whether she approves the marriage. Anyway to digress for a while, I think Eurasians have the best of both world as in they get both the good genes from Asian and Caucasian, don't you think? I think that they got the best genes, like sharp and high nose etc. :) I want to visit England! haha so random.
LASTLY I think Universal Studios is awesome! I like the Mummy Ride! :D And I like the decorations there, albeit the New York area doesn't feel like New York and I know why, it looks too new, esp the buildings there. The New York buildings are older but not like dilapidated but it's old with quaint charm. The theme park needs more ride BTW, the whole time we were there and we spent like 2 hours plus plus just to queue for rides. We took 1 hour to queue for the Dinosaur Wet Ride thingy. Last but not least, I'm just suggesting that the Singapore Tourism Board should think of a better name. The Venetian (as in the hotel plus casino thing in Macau) has gondola rides as a feature and Singapore's Marina Bay Sands has............................................................ SAMPAN RIDE! Oh god I was laughing like nobody's business when I saw it on the leaflet. SERIOUSLY? SAMPAN RIDES. We were thinking that maybe we can get to eat Nasi Lemak while on the ride and sing folk song. It's innovative I guess but a sampan ride in the chi chi Sands just doesn't match leh. Maybe it can be called something else like the Golden Ride or something. Come to think of it, there's nothing much else the ride can be called. Oh well at least there's a skating rink! :D
